Dundrum Library/Civic Centre: Information and Inspiration.
Monday 31st March, 8.00pm – 9.15pm
The Webinar will be chaired by Dr Paula Russell, Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Regional and Urban Planning, UCD School of Architecture
- Introduction by Nick Armstrong.
Nick, Chair of Imagine Dundrum will open the meeting and briefly highlight recent developments in Dundrum.
- “Designing civic places for people: some exciting possibilities”, by Philip Jackson.
Philip is an Architect-Planner and Urban Designer with 35 years’ national and international experience. He has worked with Scott Tallon Walkers Architects since 1998. His work includes numerous large-scale urban projects such as the Mater Hospital development and the Aviva Stadium at Lansdowne Road as well as urban regeneration projects in Cork, Wexford, Galway and Cherrywood in Dublin.
- “Restoring the heart of Dundrum: further thinking on the planned Civic Centre and Library”, by Anne Colgan.
Anne is a founding member and former chair of Imagine Dundrum and a local Councillor for many years.
